We are learning about healthy food so we investigated sugar in drinks.
We found out that we should only have 5 teaspoons of sugar a day.
We decided that the best drink to have at school is water!
Nikau was telling me we should only have four tea spoons of sugar a day. I said we don't need any extra sugar in our foods as some foods have natural sugar and that really all we need. nikau knew that fruit had "their own sugar". I was so impressed with him. Very important learning for our tamariki's future health!
Hello Room 1. I really enjoyed looking at your learning about healthy eating. Sugar is not good for our bodies if we eat too much sugar. I AGREE with you - water is best.
